The trailer follows Jason and Lucia as a seemingly easy criminal job goes wrong, drawing them into a wider conspiracy across Leonida. It also features the song “Flower in a Hurricane,” associated with Justice and guest artists Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

GTA 6 Story: What Is the Game About?

The story follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two characters whose lives become increasingly dangerous after a job goes wrong.

According to Rockstar’s official description, the pair find themselves caught in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida. To survive, they must rely on one another as the situation grows more dangerous.

Vice City returns as a major location in the franchise. The wider setting of Leonida provides the backdrop for the story, bringing together urban environments, highways, coastal locations and other areas inspired by Florida.

The launch trailer gives fans more cinematic context, but Rockstar has not revealed every major story detail.

GTA 6 Gameplay: What Has Rockstar Shown?

Rockstar has released several official videos for the game, including two numbered trailers, An Extended Look and the launch trailer.

The 26-minute An Extended Look, released in August 2026, contains extensive footage captured in-game on PlayStation 5. It offers a longer view of the game’s world and presentation than the shorter cinematic trailers.

The October launch trailer is primarily a cinematic preview. It should not be treated as a complete gameplay demonstration or proof of every feature discussed in online speculation.

Players can expect an open-world action-adventure experience, but detailed mechanics and feature availability should be confirmed through Rockstar’s official information rather than unofficial claims.

GTA 6 Platforms: Will It Release on PC?

Rockstar has confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

PC release: Rockstar has not announced an official PC release date in the cited announcement. Claims suggesting a specific PC launch window should therefore be treated as speculation unless Rockstar confirms it.

The game is also not confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or mobile devices in the official release information cited here.

Is GTA 6 Trailer 3 Out?

Rockstar released its official Launch Trailer on October 15, 2026. The company calls it the launch trailer rather than officially naming it “Trailer 3.”

The earlier official videos include Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. Fans may refer to the newer videos informally as a third trailer, but the official naming should be used when reporting the news.
